Following a successful petition led by the Student Government Association, the school library will extend its Saturday hours beginning April 1st. The new hours will run from 9 AM to 8 PM, giving students an additional three hours of access.
Principal Martinez cited increased demand and strong student advocacy as the primary reasons for the change. 'Our students have shown us that they value this resource, and we want to support their academic goals,' she said in a statement.
The extended hours will be staffed by a combination of regular librarians and trained student volunteers. Those interested in volunteering can sign up through the library's website.
